DISCIPLESHIP

Ephesians 4 tells us that the church is to “equip the saints for ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we attain to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood (and womanhood), to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” Paul is telling the church in Ephesus, and us as well, that one of the church’s jobs is to equip followers of Jesus for ministry and into maturity. At LifePoint we call this discipleship.

Discipleship is intentionally walking with others as we reorient our lives around following Jesus. At LifePoint we utilize our 5 Discipleship Spaces to journey toward maturity in Christ together.

MEN'S MINISTRY

The Hub is a Mens’ Ministry breakfast meeting from 7:30 - 9:00am on the third Saturday of every month.

The purpose of The Hub is to give guys a unique environment where they can get to know and grow with other guys in the church. The meetings will center around a teaching topic tailored to men that will lead them into further discussions and practical ways to follow Jesus.

The hope is that The Hub is not just “one more thing” that men are adding to their calendars, but instead, it is an intentional time that invests back into marriages …parenting …jobs …communities …and, most importantly, their relationship with Jesus.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

A community of women seeking to connect and grow in relationship with each other as we journey towards Christ!

LIFEGROUPS

We believe life is better lived in circles rather than rows. We need one another as we follow Jesus and here at LifePoint we believe that LifeGroups are central to our discipleship.

LifeGroups are what we call our small group ministry. They are groups of 10-14 people who meet in various homes throughout the week to grow in Jesus through Bible study, serve one another in community and fellowship, and love the world through service and mission.

TRIADS

We all need “pace setters.” Individuals in our lives that help us slow down or speed up as life around us churns on. At LifePoint, we believe that works best in a small group of 3-4 people whose focus is on reorienting their lives around Being with Jesus, Becoming Like Jesus, and Partnering with Jesus on His mission.

A Triad is a small band of individuals of the same gender that meet regularly to study the Bible, pray, share about life struggles, and celebrate life victories. Using our monthly Triad guides, you will meditate on Scripture, and allow it to shape your worldview and help reorient your life around Jesus.

About Triads

The groups will then meet in person 3 times during the month at a time that works for each group to engage together in discipleship.

If you’re currently in a LifeGroup we encourage you to sign up with two other people of the same gender from your group. If you aren’t in a LifeGroup you can sign up as an individual and we’ll help you find a group or sign up with a couple of friends. Sign up below for more information about joining a Discipleship Triad.

COHORT

Being a leader is not about a title, a task, or climbing some invisible church leadership ladder… it’s about actively shepherding and serving the church. It’s not about how much knowledge we can cram into your head… but rather how much character God can build in your heart and soul. And yet… part of being a good shepherd is being a good leader. Caring for the church includes protecting her by being able to handle Scripture well.
